Security and Investigations Specialist
This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:
·Conduct timely, objective, impartial and fact-finding internal investigations by following effective investigative steps.
·Ensure internal investigations are conducted in accordance with all relevant client policies, procedures and guidance.
·Prioritize multiple investigations, investigative tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining positive collaborative relations with various stakeholders.
·Work closely with internal stakeholders where appropriate such as HR, Compliance and Legal, including external counsel when conducting legally privileged investigations.
·Maintain strict discretion and confidentiality, and ensure investigations are completed in a thorough and timely manner.
·Identify trends, emerging risks, and insights regarding harassment and discrimination investigations.
·Maintain current knowledge and awareness of investigative techniques, fraud schemes, privacy laws, and applicable industry regulations.
·Deliver professionally written investigative reports incorporating all evidence required to prove or disprove investigative findings and identify causal factors to facilitate corrective and preventative action plans.
·Manage case files and investigative data using client case management system and provide feedback to continuously improve the end-to-end process of corporate investigations.
·Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant external stakeholders, including local and regional law enforcement authorities.
·Provide security and resilience support to local and regional business units as required.
We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:
University degree or equivalent diploma in Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement, Forensic accounting or related field of study preferred.
Professional training in conducting complex field, multi-country investigations.
Minimum 5 years of experience leading and managing investigations and related processes.
Experience in performing investigations and/or audits under the direction of internal and/or external Legal counsel.
Experience working with teams to conduct investigations timely, with a proven record of team building across functions.
Demonstrated decision-making and project management skills.
Ability to interpret and conceptualize rules, guidelines, policies, procedures and controls.
Sound and independent judgement in complex and sensitive cases.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation.
Ability to assess/analyse complex business information and develop appropriate conclusions.
Proficient in English.
