Site Logistics Engineer
Dow has an opportunity for a Site Logistics Engineer based in Breu Branco serves as a vital resource for Operations by applying technical and organizational skills at logistics operational facilities improving processes and systems reliability, delivering maximum value from the assets, while continuously improving process and personnel safety and production efficiency. Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within job discipline.
Responsibilities / Duties
Ensure operational discipline, improving actual processes implementing new process aligned with, personnel and process safety, reliability, quality and operational efficiency.
Lead and coordinate improvement projects regarding operational discipline improvement topics.
Define, review and modify standards, procedures and workflows to ensure operational discipline efficiency.
Define data collection plan, gathering and analyzing data, evaluating improvement opportunities, and implementing improvement projects, regarding operational discipline topics, multi-generational plan and bad actors, targeting resource prioritization. Identify and implement key measures using plant performance data analysis.
Partners with site logistics personnel to secure process data for identification of technology gaps, improvement opportunities, and project scope definitions.
Leads site logistics personnel on measurements and daily updates of technology performance / asset utilization data.
Assists in managing site logistics budgets.
Define, review and modify purchase service scopes in order to ensure operational discipline topics improvements and adequation.
Lead Root Cause Investigation and problem solving focusing on continuous improvement cycles.
Completed Engineering Graduation (Mechanical, Civil, Electric, others)
Advanced English-Fluent (Presentations and meetings in English).
Advanced Excel: charts, filters, pivo table, etc.
Your preferred qualifications include:
Experience with projects steps and methodology.
Experience with people and process safety requirements used in Capital or Expense projects.
1 year of experience at Dow facilities.
